Hopping Down the Bunny Trail

Long time, no…see? I’m so bad at keeping up with something like a blog. Especially these days, I can barely keep up with Mylo! He’s a ball of energy and light. Gymnastics is his new outlet and he’s taken to tumbling (trying to, at least) over walking. I’ve never felt older than I do when tying to sprint after him everywhere. Those little legs go a long way!

This past Sunday, we celebrated Easter. Mylo has been trying his very best to avoid napping recently, so we already knew it was going to be a long day. We started at a beautiful brunch with one side of the family. His aunt/God mother gifted him a little Easter basket with books in it. He’s had a recent obsession with reading to himself, so he proceeded to “read” the rest of the brunch. It was absolutely adorable and we’ve been reading that book and his other new book from his grandparents every other hour.

I wish I had a fun Bunny DIY for the occasion, but truthfully we don’t have much! Per usual, Mylo took his photos in his bunny hat (purchased from here). His favourite part of the holiday was the eggs, we learned. He doesn’t want anything inside of them, he just wants to hold them and clap them together. It was so much fun to watch.

There are a million blog posts I’ve been working on that I never post. I’ll work on getting those cranked out for you, especially as we move into house buying season (which is a major theme of our lives right now!).
